Hairdresser (Instructional Video Recording)

This is a remote, one-month contract for an experienced hairdresser to film practical teaching videos for an online hairdressing course. The organisation runs an online learning programme and provides the course outline and recording guidelines. The work suits a skilled stylist who is comfortable on camera, enjoys explaining techniques step by step, and can work independently from their own salon or well-lit workspace to meet a fixed deadline.

What you'll do

• Follow the provided course structure and recording instructions
• Record at least eight clear, step-by-step instructional videos
• Demonstrate assigned techniques such as braiding, cornrows, hair extensions, wig installation, styling and finishing
• Make sure videos are clear, practical and easy for learners to follow
• Submit all recorded videos within the one-month contract period

What you need

• Proven hands-on hairdressing experience
• A good-quality camera phone able to record clear videos and close-up demonstrations
• Access to a suitable salon or well-equipped workspace with good lighting
• Your own hairdressing tools, products and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
