Mechanical Engineer

A full-time mechanical engineering role at an industrial manufacturing operation in Agbara, Ogun State, focused on keeping production machinery running reliably. The work covers preventive and corrective maintenance, fault repair, equipment installation and commissioning, and close collaboration with production teams. What you'll do

• Carry out preventive, routine and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime
• Monitor equipment performance and anticipate potential breakdowns
• Supervise scheduled maintenance and support equipment installation and commissioning
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Work with production and technical teams to improve equipment reliability

What you need

• B.Sc., B.Eng. or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 3–5 years' experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering
• Strong machinery maintenance, troubleshooting and repair skills
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and mechanical systems
• Good problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills
• HSE knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office
