This is a remote senior role for an SEO specialist who will act as the go-to expert on organic search for a portfolio of four to six client accounts. The work spans strategy, content systems, reporting and day-to-day client relationships, with a strong focus on testing how AI-driven search engines surface brands. It suits an experienced, hands-on marketer from a performance marketing agency background who enjoys data, translating complex findings into plain language, and tying search results to real business outcomes. What you'll do
- Own SEO strategy, execution and performance across a portfolio of four to six client accounts
- Lead recurring status and reporting calls and act as the main SEO point of contact for assigned clients
- Build time-bound tactical roadmaps and structured content systems such as topic clusters, pillar pages and internal linking
- Analyse performance data to identify trends, measure impact and recommend next steps
- Test and optimise for generative AI and LLM-driven search experiences
- Collaborate with measurement, paid media and creative colleagues and support the sales team with proposals and audits
What you need
- At least 3 years of agency experience and 5+ years of relevant marketing or SEO experience
- Hands-on, tested experience optimising for AI search
- Fluent use of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog
- Strong ability to build client rapport and explain SEO clearly without jargon
- Experience creating keyword, audience and competitor-led content strategy and briefs
- Strong project management and the ability to prioritise competing demands
