Social Media Manager

A part-time, fully remote role managing social media accounts for a growing business that works with a US-based team. The work covers planning brand-aligned strategies, creating and scheduling content across several platforms, and building an engaged online community. It suits a creative, self-motivated writer who understands social media trends and is comfortable reading performance data. Work is spread across a few hours a day, including some weekend activity, and follows Eastern Standard Time hours.

What you'll do

• Develop and carry out social media strategies that match the brand
• Create, schedule and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and other platforms
• Track and analyse social media performance and adjust plans accordingly
• Research industry trends and suggest fresh content ideas
• Respond to messages and comments and help grow the online community
• Work with the team to keep a consistent brand voice and visual identity

What you need

• 1-3 years of social media management experience
• Fluent English with strong written and spoken grammar
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
• Able to write engaging captions and ad copy and interpret data
• Familiarity with G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail)
• Available on Eastern Standard Time hours, with a reliable computer, high-speed internet and a webcam and microphone
