Social Media Manager (Hybrid, Lagos)

A growing media and marketing business in Lagos is looking for a creative, results-focused Social Media Manager to look after its Instagram and TikTok presence. The role is hybrid, with office attendance three times a week, and is based in Ikeja. It suits someone who understands short-form content, enjoys storytelling and copywriting, and can shoot and edit simple mobile videos. Supporting photography, videography and graphic design are provided, so the focus is on planning, publishing and growing an engaged community. Candidates should be able to show a portfolio of pages they have managed.

What you'll do

• Plan and manage a monthly social media content calendar
• Schedule and publish engaging content across Instagram and TikTok
• Create mobile short-form content such as Reels, TikToks, Stories and behind-the-scenes posts
• Track trends, audios and hashtags to grow reach and engagement
• Engage with followers through comments, messages and community building
• Measure performance with analytics and provide weekly reports

What you need

• Proven experience managing Instagram and TikTok for a brand or business
• Strong grasp of social media trends, algorithms and conversion-focused content
• Able to shoot and edit short videos on a mobile phone using apps such as CapCut or InShot
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
• Basic knowledge of content planning tools and analytics
• Available to attend the office three times a week; portfolio of managed pages required
