Staff Product Designer, Core Platform (Remote - Worldwide)

This is a Staff Product Designer role at a fast-growing B2B software company that serves distributed teams across the globe. You will own design across a core, company-wide product area and a new platform-wide initiative, setting direction rather than waiting for it. The work is broad and ambiguous, and you will partner closely with product, engineering and leadership to decide what gets built and why. The team values fast shipping followed by steady iteration.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end design for a core product area and a new platform-wide initiative, from strategy and discovery through implementation and design QA.
• Partner with product and engineering leads to shape the roadmap, priorities and timelines.
• Connect multiple product domains so the experience stays coherent and consistent across the platform.
• Work with stakeholders across the organization, including sales, risk and compliance, and translate complex strategy into clear recommendations for leadership.
• Mentor senior designers, take part in hiring and interviewing, and help raise the design bar.
• Use AI tools in your design workflow to prototype faster and explore new interaction patterns.

What you need

• At least 10 years of experience leading end-to-end product design for web and/or mobile applications, at staff level or equivalent scope.
• Strong UX and UI craft, with experience building, implementing or scaling design systems.
• A track record of cross-functional alignment and managing stakeholder expectations across a complex organization.
• Comfort switching context quickly, making independent decisions and working through ambiguity.
• A strong portfolio with at least one detailed case study, showing your process and outcomes.
• Active use of AI tools in your design practice, with examples in your portfolio if possible.
