Technical & Project Director

A senior, full-time leadership role based onsite in Garki, Abuja, within a real estate and property development business. The position centres on guiding large development and infrastructure projects from planning through to completion, working closely with consultants, contractors, suppliers and regulatory bodies. It suits an experienced built-environment professional with a strong engineering or planning background, sound commercial judgement and a track record of delivering master-planned estates or mixed-use schemes at scale.

What you'll do

• Lead the planning, execution and completion of real estate development and infrastructure projects
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, milestones and deliverables
• Supervise contractors, consultants and engineers across project stakeholders
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor quality and progress
• Review technical designs, specifications, quotations and contractor deliverables
• Monitor project costs and ensure effective budget control

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building, Quantity Surveying, Urban & Regional Planning, or a closely related field
• Master's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Real Estate Development or Urban Planning is an advantage
• Relevant professional registration or certification in Nigeria is desirable
• 15 to 20+ years of professional experience, including at least 8 to 10 years in senior management
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale, long-term developments such as master-planned estates, commercial or mixed-use projects
