Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator

A remote role in Nigeria for a creative professional who enjoys visual storytelling and building engaging digital content. The organisation is a brand focused on growing its online presence through short-form and long-form video across major social platforms. The role suits someone who understands what captures attention online, enjoys turning raw footage into polished work, and can manage several projects at once while working independently. Working schedule is Monday to Friday.

What you'll do

• Develop original content ideas for social media campaigns, promotions and brand storytelling
• Capture, edit and produce short-form and long-form video for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Enhance videos with motion graphics, subtitles, sound design, music syncing and colour correction
• Create complementary visual assets such as thumbnails, cover graphics and social media posts
• Support planning, scheduling and publishing of content across platforms
• Review content performance and use insights to improve future campaigns

What you need

• Previous experience in video editing, content creation or social media production
• Hands-on experience with editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
• Familiarity with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva
• Strong understanding of content performance across major social platforms
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a self-driven, detail-focused approach
