Content Designer

This is a remote, contract role for a content designer to review short pieces of AI-generated in-product writing, the sort of microcopy people skim rather than read. The work is about judging voice, tone and adherence to editorial standards, then choosing the stronger sample and explaining the choice briefly. It suits writers and content designers with hands-on experience setting voice for product interfaces, or rating and rewriting machine-generated text against a style guide. The engagement begins with a short paid pilot and may move into an ongoing monthly arrangement, with a calibration check before live work begins.

What you'll do

• Review pairs of AI-generated in-product copy for voice, tone and editorial fit
• Select the preferred sample and give a one-line reason for the choice
• Apply tags to label each review
• Complete a calibration check before working on live data

What you need

• Experience setting voice and tone for in-product writing at a large technology or consumer product company
• Experience rating or rewriting AI-generated text against editorial standards
• Ability to work remotely across time zones on a flexible schedule
• Comfortable working about 5 hours a day over a 5-day pilot
