Content Strategist

A remote, part-time contract role for a content strategist to improve how an established social media presence converts viewers into followers, savers, sharers and enquiries. The organisation already publishes consistently to a good standard, so the focus is on positioning, content pillars and interpreting analytics rather than producing posts. The work suits someone who thinks in terms of audience behaviour and strategy, has grown an account organically with measurable results, and is comfortable working alongside an existing social media manager. Real estate and diaspora audience experience are valued. Roughly ten hours a week, with a formal review at ninety days.

What you'll do

• Own brand positioning and the core content pillars
• Set content direction and write clear briefs for the social media manager
• Grow organic audience reach across social channels
• Interpret analytics and turn findings into content decisions
• Improve content so it drives follows, saves, shares and enquiries
• Develop approaches that work well without relying on the principal appearing on camera

What you need

• Evidence of growing a named account organically from a low base, with figures over a defined period
• Strong comfort with analytics and data-led decision making
• Experience directing content rather than primarily producing it
• Real estate experience (strong advantage)
• Familiarity with international property markets and African diaspora audiences (valued)
• Based in Nigeria and able to work remotely about ten hours per week
