Experience Design Team Leader (3-Month Contract - Remote, Egypt)

A company running a large, multi-site consumer service ecosystem is hiring a short-term Experience Design Team Leader. The role owns the end-to-end customer experience architecture across the company's services and sets the direction for how the future-state ecosystem will be designed. The work centres on connected service experiences rather than isolated touchpoints, and the successful candidate will guide a design team while working closely with business stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Define the future-state ecosystem experience architecture and the associated service blueprint.
• Own the end-to-end customer experience architecture across the service ecosystem.
• Design connected service journeys that work across channels and touchpoints.
• Apply service blueprinting, design systems, journey architecture, prioritisation frameworks and implementation planning.
• Lead workshops, align cross-functional stakeholders, and coach a design team.
• Turn customer insights into scalable operating models and experience standards.

What you need

• 8 to 12 years of experience in service design, experience design, customer experience, or similar work in retail, hospitality, aviation or other multi-site consumer environments.
• Strong practical expertise in service blueprints, design systems, journey architecture, prioritisation frameworks and implementation planning.
• Exceptional facilitation skills, with a track record of leading workshops and aligning cross-functional teams.
• Experience coaching or leading a design team.
• Background in roles such as Service Design Lead, Experience Design Manager, CX Architecture Lead, or Innovation and Experience Transformation Lead within large consumer-facing organisations is preferred.
• Must be based in Egypt to apply.
