Full-Stack Engineer, Backend Lean (Remote - Europe or US East Coast)

You must be able to work during Central European hours. You will join the music group at an AI audio research and product company. The team takes research models from early stage into production APIs and creative tools used by businesses and creators. You will work closely with researchers and research engineers, and you will help decide which features, including custom enterprise features, get built next. This is a full-stack role with a clear lean toward backend systems.

What you'll do

• Build and operate production APIs and backend services that bring new audio and music models into the product.
• Turn ambiguous goals into clear plans by weighing trade-offs, choosing the technical approach and defining scope.
• Design systems so that newer models can be swapped in without major rework.
• Partner with research, legal, safety, growth and design teams to plan and launch features.
• Join customer calls occasionally when a technical perspective is needed.

What you need

• Experience building and shipping production APIs and backend systems.
• Working knowledge of frontend development sufficient to deliver full-stack features.
• Strong product sense: you can break down a vague problem and move to delivery without long analysis cycles.
• Self-directed, able to drive work end to end without a ticket queue.
• Ability to work with Central European timezone overlap and to collaborate across functions.
• Interest in music and AI. Experience with audio, music, or shipping ML models into production is a plus.
