Full-Stack Engineer, Consumer Music App (Remote - Europe & US East Coast)

You must be able to work across GMT-5 to GMT+1 time zones. Optional office access in London, New York, Dublin, Amsterdam or Warsaw. This is a full-time product engineering role at an AI audio company, working on a consumer music app focused on listening, creating, remixing and streaming. The team operates semi-independently from the wider organization, uses an agent-first workflow with fast continuous integration, and aims to get new ideas in front of users within a day or two. The work involves building largely new features in a space where there are few established patterns.

What you'll do

• Take features end to end, from identifying the user problem through shipping the frontend and the backend that supports it
• Define product problems yourself and validate ideas with real users
• Work with research engineers to turn new model capabilities into features people want to use
• Use AI tools to speed up development while reviewing and understanding all code you ship
• Decide what to build and what to leave out, and keep scope tight
• Fix problems you find in production without waiting for direction

What you need

• Have shipped and owned a well-designed consumer product from zero to real users, covering both frontend and backend
• Understand your systems well enough to quickly spot incorrect, insecure or overly complex pull requests
• Show strong product judgement about what is most valuable to build
• Work autonomously with minimal direction
• Have a genuine interest in music or in the people who make it
• Able to work within GMT-5 to GMT+1 time zones and be based in Europe or the US East Coast
• Bonus: open-source or public GitHub work, experience with music or audio products, or experience with recommendation systems or embeddings
