Full-Stack Engineer (Remote - Europe and US East Coast)

You must be able to work within GMT-5 to GMT+1 hours. This is a full-stack engineering role at a fast-growing AI audio company. The team runs a managed service that combines AI audio tools with human specialists in linguistics, mixing and post-production to deliver edited dubs, audiobooks and related work for media businesses and studios. You will build the internal systems that make that human-plus-AI workflow reliable and scalable, and the labelling tools used by research teams to improve models. The company is remote-first and does not use job titles; scope is defined by the impact you own.

What you'll do

• Own a area of the stack, such as a human data labelling and evaluation platform, a backend engine for production workflows, or a professional editor built in Rust.
• Design and ship new task editors and UI tools used by internal production and research teams.
• Build and maintain backend services, workflow or task engines, and data pipelines that have to run reliably at scale.
• Harden platform infrastructure, improve reliability, and detect misuse of internal tools.
• Define metrics for data quality and pipeline health, and act on them.
• Take the lead on projects when the opportunity comes up.

What you need

• Strong backend engineering experience, ideally in functional programming languages such as Rust, with full-stack work that includes UI systems.
• Proven record of shipping and operating production systems end to end.
• Experience building reliable, scalable internal platforms, workflow or task engines, or data pipelines.
• Ability to move between building new tools and hardening the infrastructure beneath them.
• Able to work across GMT-5 to GMT+1 time zones and based in Europe or the US East Coast.
• Strong ownership and comfort with unglamorous, detail-heavy work.
• Bonus:
• Experience with editor or UI-heavy professional tools.
