Learning and Engagement Officer

A remote, full-time role supporting a civic leadership organisation focused on developing young people across Africa. The post suits someone who enjoys designing learning resources, coordinating programmes and building relationships with partners and supporters. The organisation works at a pan-African level, so candidates comfortable with cross-community collaboration and youth-focused work will fit well. Experience in youth or student activities, policy-related work and partnership or funding development is valued. Candidates with a political science background or French language skills are welcome to stand out.

What you'll do

• Develop training materials, manuals and project concepts
• Coordinate programmes and support stakeholder engagement
• Build strategic partnerships
• Source sponsorships and grants
• Support youth engagement and leadership development initiatives

What you need

• Relevant experience coordinating student or youth activities
• Knowledge of policy development and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in partnership building and sourcing grants or sponsorships
• Passion for teamwork, initiative and youth development
• Background in Political Science is an advantage
• Knowledge of French is an advantage
