Manager of Quality, Registered Nurse (Remote - US only)
The posting does not list eligible states, but the role's US healthcare focus (NCQA accreditation, CMS programs, Stars/HEDIS measures) and USD pay suggest applicants must be based in the United States. This is a remote management role at a fast-growing, technology-enabled company that supports people with cancer and their caregivers through value-based care partnerships with health plans, providers and employers. You will run the day-to-day patient safety and clinical risk program, strengthening how safety events are reported, reviewed, fixed and tracked. You will also act as a clinical quality resource for accreditation, measure performance and complex complaint investigations. The role reports to the Director of Quality.
What you'll do
- Run daily operations of the patient safety program, including event intake, review, escalation, documentation, remediation and follow-up.
- Maintain and improve the program's classification system, severity framework, policies, workflows and escalation paths.
- Lead or support audits, root cause analyses, failure point analyses and other structured investigations, then turn findings into corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor safety metrics, incident trends and resolution timelines, and prepare monthly reports for leadership and quality governance.
- Support NCQA accreditation readiness, including annual mock audits, evidence review and remediation planning, plus HEDIS/Stars clinical gap closure.
- Create staff education, job aids and training based on investigation and audit results.
What you need
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the United States.
- At least 4 years of experience in clinical care, healthcare quality, patient safety, clinical risk, care management, or health plan operations.
- Experience reviewing clinical events, quality-of-care concerns, incidents or complaints.
- Proven ability to run structured investigations and drive corrective actions.
- Strong clinical documentation, written communication and critical-thinking skills.
- Comfort analyzing data, producing recurring reports, and using Google Workspace or Excel and EHR or reporting tools.
