NetSuite Engineer (Remote - Latin America)

This is a remote contract role with a talent-as-a-service firm that places developers and designers with clients across the globe. You will be placed with an end client to work on NetSuite ERP customizations and integrations. The role suits someone who communicates well with business stakeholders, pays close attention to detail, and keeps their technical skills current.

What you'll do

• Build, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript 2.x (User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, Suitelets, RESTlets).
• Develop and maintain integrations between NetSuite and e-commerce, EDI, 3PL and other third-party systems via SuiteTalk REST/SOAP, RESTlets or middleware.
• Automate order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory and financial close processes with SuiteFlow and custom scripts.
• Work with finance, operations, supply chain and sales teams to gather requirements and produce technical designs.
• Manage development through SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), version control and sandbox testing before production releases.
• Troubleshoot script errors, performance issues and integration failures, and review NetSuite releases for impact on existing code.

What you need

• At least 3 years writing and maintaining SuiteScript 2.x, including governance-aware code and refactoring of legacy 1.0 scripts.
• Proven experience supporting NetSuite integrations with external systems using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, or middleware such as Celigo, Boomi or Workato.
• Working knowledge of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory and record-to-report, including revenue recognition and multi-subsidiary (OneWorld) setups.
• Hands-on experience with custom records, SuiteFlow, saved searches, SuiteQL, Advanced PDF/HTML templates, roles and permissions, and SDF.
• Experience with CSV data imports, migrations and sandbox-to-production promotion.
• Based in Latin America and fluent in English.
