Oncology Triage Nurse (Remote - US only)

Pay: $41.54/hr - $41.54/hr (hourly rate). A cancer care navigation company focused on value-based oncology care is hiring a remote oncology nurse to serve as a clinical resource for patients and their care networks. The role covers triage, support, and education across the cancer journey by phone, email, and video. The shift runs 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.

What you'll do

• Speak with patients and their caregivers to assess clinical concerns, complete structured clinical assessments, and manage escalations
• Support patients across the oncology care continuum, from screening through survivorship or end-of-life care, including symptom management, nutrition support, discharge planning, and provider referrals
• Take part in case conferences and build targeted support plans with the wider healthcare team
• Work with payers and providers to coordinate care and reduce avoidable readmissions
• Coordinate with non-clinical team members on social needs such as food access and transportation
• Document accurately and follow team policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards

What you need

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and an unrestricted, compact-eligible registered nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in solid tumor oncology nursing
• Oncology certification such as OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM, either held now or obtained within 2 years of hire
• Located in the lower 48 United States and able to work the 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ET shift
• Strong phone and video communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
• Compact plus single-state licensure in New York and/or Illinois is preferred
