Performance Marketing Manager (Remote - Nigeria)

Open to candidates based in Nigeria. The role follows U.S. business hours. A recruitment firm is hiring on behalf of one of its clients for a remote Performance Marketing Manager. The role centers on planning and running paid digital campaigns that generate leads, customers and measurable revenue. You will be judged on acquisition efficiency such as cost per lead, customer acquisition cost and return on ad spend rather than on clicks or impressions. The hiring process includes a recorded one-way video interview, a recruiter call, a performance marketing case interview and a client interview.

What you'll do

• Plan, launch, manage and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other performance channels
• Track CPL, CAC, CPA, ROAS, CTR and conversion rates, diagnose underperforming campaigns and act on the data
• Run structured A/B tests across audiences, creatives, messaging, offers, landing pages and channels, then scale winners and cut weak spend
• Research audiences and keywords, and monitor competitors and market trends
• Verify conversion tracking and attribution, and troubleshoot tracking issues when they arise
• Produce regular performance reports and explain results and next steps to leadership

What you need

• At least 2 years of digital or performance marketing experience with hands-on paid advertising management
• Working knowledge of one or more of Google Ads, Meta Ads or LinkedIn Ads
• Strong grasp of acquisition metrics (CPL, CAC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, conversion rate) and experience managing ad budgets
• Comfortable with campaign data analysis and testing methodology
• Professional working English and clear written and verbal reporting skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup and to overlap with U.S. business hours
• Google Analytics and conversion tracking or attribution experience
• Landing page and funnel optimization experience
