Power Platform Developer (Remote, Egypt) - 6-12 Month Contract

A technology services firm is bringing in an external Power Platform specialist to join a client's agile platform team on a fixed-term engagement. You will own defined work packages from requirements refinement and design through build, testing, deployment and post-release stabilization. The role suits a hands-on low-code engineer who can also raise the skill level of the internal team.

What you'll do

• Build and enhance model-driven and Canvas apps using reusable, maintainable components and well-structured Power Fx.
• Develop Power Automate cloud flows and approvals with proper error handling and monitoring.
• Design Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, business rules and other solution components.
• Connect Microsoft and third-party services through standard connectors, custom connectors and REST APIs.
• Release changes as managed solutions using source control and Azure DevOps-based ALM, including unit testing, peer reviews and production support.
• Coach internal developers through pairing, code reviews and concise technical handovers.

What you need

• 5+ years of software or low-code development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Power Apps delivery in enterprise settings.
• Proven record delivering production-ready model-driven and Canvas apps, including complex Power Fx and reusable components.
• Strong working knowledge of Power Automate, Dataverse data modelling, security and integration patterns.
• Experience deploying managed solutions across multiple environments with structured ALM, and hands-on Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD experience.
• Professional English and clear written and verbal communication for an international team.
• Nice to have: plugins, PCF controls, JavaScript/TypeScript, Power Pages or Azure Functions; Dynamics 365 Sales or Customer Service; Copilot Studio or AI Builder; Power Platform certification such as PL-400 or PL-600.
