PreK-K Math Teacher (Remote - US only)

A recently established education technology company offering extra-curricular K-12 learning through science and technology is hiring a remote math teacher for preschool and kindergarten students. The role centers on online, small-group math instruction built on a set curriculum, with a strong focus on critical thinking and logic. The company runs a paid teacher training program and offers a path into management for strong performers.

What you'll do

• Prepare and deliver weekly online math classes for PreK and K students, typically 10-20 classes (about 10-20 hours) per week
• Follow the company's curriculum and adapt lessons to be engaging and age-appropriate
• Run trial lessons with new students to place them in the right classes (about 5-10 hours per week)
• Grade homework and send weekly progress updates and improvement notes to parents (about 3-5 hours per week)
• Shadow lead teachers as a paid teaching assistant to build skills, and take on other duties assigned by the management team

What you need

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field; education or STEM majors preferred
• Strong understanding of early math concepts
• Prior math teaching experience is a plus
• Energetic, enthusiastic and able to engage young children on camera
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with parents
• Available to work Tuesday through Sunday, about 2:00pm-8:00pm, with one or two days off; able to start as soon as possible with classes beginning in the spring semester
