Product Designer

A hybrid product design role in Yaba, Lagos, for a mid-level designer who enjoys shaping both mobile and web products from first idea to launch. The work blends user-centred thinking with polished visual craft, including interface design, interaction and motion, and design systems. It suits someone with several years of shipped product experience who works well with product managers and engineers and cares about accessibility, responsiveness and detail across devices.

What you'll do

• Design user-centred experiences for mobile apps, web applications and responsive websites, from concept to launch
• Work with product managers, engineers and stakeholders from discovery and ideation through to release
• Create polished interfaces with strong typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy
• Design micro-interactions, transitions and motion effects that improve usability
• Build interactive prototypes in Figma to test user flows and communicate design decisions
• Hand over implementation-ready designs and review that the final product matches the intended experience

What you need

• At least 3 years of professional product design experience with shipped products in a portfolio
• Experience designing both mobile and web applications and responsive websites
• Strong UI and UX fundamentals, including user flows, information architecture and prototyping
• Advanced Figma skills, including auto layout, components, variants, variables and shared libraries
• Experience creating or maintaining scalable design systems
• Ability to explain design decisions, accept feedback and iterate quickly
