Product Manager

A full-time product leadership role based in Lagos, Nigeria, overseeing a digital platform from concept through to the launch of its first minimum viable product within a set timeline. The organisation is a technology-focused business building a new digital product, and the work spans strategy, team coordination, agile delivery, user research, quality assurance and investor-facing materials. It suits an experienced product manager who enjoys taking an early-stage product from idea to launch, works well across design and engineering teams, and is comfortable communicating progress to stakeholders and investors.

What you'll do

• Own the product roadmap, prioritising the MVP and later releases
• Coordinate designers, developers and stakeholders to deliver on time and to a high standard
• Recruit and onboard members of the product development team
• Run Agile/Scrum activities including stand-ups, sprint reviews and backlog prioritisation
• Carry out market research, competitor analysis, user interviews and pilot testing
• Oversee user acceptance testing, deployment and post-launch monitoring

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field (BSc/HND)
• At least 5 years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, edtech or research technology
• Proven record of delivering MVPs or complex digital products on tight deadlines
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, project management tools, UI/UX principles and the software development life cycle
• Strong documentation, analytical, communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and coordinate remote, cross-functional teams
