Senior Motion Designer (Remote - EMEA)

A senior creative role within the in-house brand team of a fast-growing, profitable software automation company. The team is small and high-ownership, sitting within marketing and working across brand, product and enterprise positioning. The position is fully remote and open to candidates across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, subject to the employer's country eligibility for permanent employment. It suits an experienced motion designer who enjoys turning product interfaces and brand briefs into clear, polished animation, can build reusable systems for others, and is comfortable working independently with limited input.

What you'll do

• Design and produce motion for product explainers, website animations, short social videos, event motion and campaign assets
• Turn product UI frames and brand briefs into demo animations and feature explainers, drafting simple storyboards
• Build a motion design language, guidelines, component libraries and reusable templates for other teams
• Explore and adopt motion tools, including AI-assisted video tools, to help non-designers create on-brand assets
• Produce multiple short-form video variants for paid social testing
• Work with external agencies on larger productions and present creative reasoning to stakeholders

What you need

• Strong portfolio of motion design for product and brand, with a clear sense of timing, easing and narrative
• Experience building reusable systems such as template files, component libraries or motion guidelines
• Good understanding of how sound and motion work together
• Comfortable working from a brief or minimal input and handling ambiguity
• Ability to communicate creative decisions to cross-functional stakeholders
• Able to work remotely from a country where the employer can hire permanently
