Senior .NET Developer (Remote - Egypt, 3-Month Contract)

A remote contract opportunity for an experienced backend engineer to build and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The team is hiring immediately and values strong architecture, clean code and dependable delivery. The role suits someone who can work independently, own technical tasks and collaborate closely with frontend, QA and product colleagues.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable applications using .NET and C#.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services with ASP.NET Core.
• Design and tune SQL Server queries, stored procedures and data models.
• Apply clean code, design patterns and SOLID principles in day-to-day development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and development issues.
• Take part in code reviews, technical decisions and architecture improvements, and write technical documentation.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong .NET and C# skills.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and Web API development.
• Solid grasp of OOP, RESTful design and software design principles.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, including writing optimized queries.
• Working knowledge of Git, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Based in Egypt, as the role is open to candidates in Egypt only.
