Senior Product Designer (Design System)

This remote role suits an experienced product designer who enjoys shaping both individual financial products and the shared systems behind them. It sits within a fast-growing fintech business that provides payment, banking, credit and business management tools to people and businesses across Africa. The position is open to candidates based in Nigeria, Poland, Portugal and Spain, with a London option also available. The ideal candidate combines strong UX thinking with polished visual and interaction design, and enjoys mentoring others while working closely with product and engineering colleagues in a fast-moving, experimental environment.

What you'll do

• Set design direction for financial products that supports business goals and user needs
• Lead projects end to end, from research and discovery through to final UI
• Run usability tests, user interviews and A/B experiments to refine designs
• Build scalable, reusable UI components and contribute to the shared design system
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design across mobile and web
• Mentor junior designers and present design rationale to stakeholders

What you need

• At least 3 years in a senior product design role with a strong UX focus
• Strong visual design, typography, layout and interaction design skills on mobile and web
• Advanced Figma skills, including auto layout, design tokens, variants and scalable libraries
• Experience with atomic design, motion tools and UX analytics tools
• Proven fintech and/or SaaS experience with end-to-end case studies showing measurable impact
• Comfortable in agile, fast-paced teams and able to work from one of the listed countries
