Senior React Engineer (TypeScript) (Remote, Egypt)

A technology company is building out an international delivery team to support a growing software platform. The team needs a senior front-end engineer who can own React and TypeScript components from design through testing, release, and stabilization. The position also involves setting engineering standards and helping other developers grow in an Agile Scrum setting.

What you'll do

• Design and build responsive React applications and reusable component libraries in TypeScript.
• Apply modern React patterns such as functional components, hooks, state management, and modular architecture.
• Connect front-end apps to REST APIs and Microsoft services using secure authentication and authorization.
• Write automated unit, component, and end-to-end tests, and help maintain CI/CD pipelines and quality gates in Azure DevOps.
• Improve accessibility, performance, browser compatibility, and security, and lead code reviews and technical debt reduction.
• Document technical decisions, work closely with UX, architecture, backend, and business teams, and pass knowledge on to internal developers.

What you need

• 7+ years of software development experience, with substantial recent hands-on work in React and TypeScript.
• A track record of owning production React applications and scalable front-end architecture.
• Solid grasp of component design, state management, REST integration, and asynchronous programming.
• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks and front-end build tooling.
• Working knowledge of Git, pull requests, code reviews, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong command of accessibility, responsive design, performance tuning, and secure web development.
• Professional-level English, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain technical choices clearly.
