Senior Systems Administrator (Remote - US, Canada, EMEA, LATAM)

Candidates based in France, Italy or Germany cannot be considered for this role. This is a senior IT and infrastructure role at a remote-first, global digital finance company that builds self-custodial software used by millions of people worldwide. The TechOps team keeps internal systems reliable and secure for engineers, product teams and operations staff. You will act as a main IT contact for employees while also owning cloud and SaaS administration and leading larger technology projects. The role is expected to run with a high degree of autonomy.

What you'll do

• Administer and optimise cloud and SaaS platforms, including identity, collaboration, chat, video and project tools, across multiple environments
• Manage device management (MDM) and SaaS tooling that supports a distributed workforce
• Handle ticket queues, remote hardware and software support, networking issues and videoconferencing set-up
• Lead incident response for critical systems, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
• Build automation to reduce manual work and improve system visibility, and define access control and security policies
• Support onboarding and offboarding, equipment procurement and shipping, and compliance work alongside the security team

What you need

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
• Strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise SaaS and MDM platforms (for example JumpCloud or Okta)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, identity management and access control
• Proven ability to make sound decisions independently under pressure, and to explain technical topics to non-technical colleagues
• Experience with web3, fintech or high-growth tech, SOC 2 or ISO 27001, fully remote teams, or two major cloud providers is a plus
