The role can also be done from a hybrid setup with an optional office hub in Spain. A large online healthcare marketplace operating across Europe and Latin America is hiring a senior search specialist to own technical SEO and search data across its many country sites. The team handles organic search for more than a dozen marketplaces and is expanding its work on AI search and LLM visibility. You will work with a small team of search specialists and engineers and have room to test ideas and build your own processes.
What you'll do
- Own technical SEO maintenance and improvements across all marketplaces, including migrations, structured data, page template changes, internal linking, indexability and crawl efficiency.
- Build, maintain and extend data pipelines that bring in search console, SERP, log, business profile and web analytics data, working with data engineers on fixes and new integrations.
- Use AI-powered analysis to find traffic opportunities across markets, verticals and channels.
- Research and apply tactics that improve visibility in AI search and LLM responses.
- Help design an analytics framework that measures the impact of the wider search visibility strategy.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and drive projects from idea to measurable results.
What you need
- 5+ years of SEO experience with a hands-on technical focus on large websites (1 million+ URLs).
- Strong Python and SQL skills for data analysis, automation and tool orchestration; other programming languages are a plus.
- Practical experience with AI/LLM search visibility and how generative AI is changing search behavior.
- Solid working knowledge of technical, content, analytics and authority SEO.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Must be based in Spain.
