Senior Technical Program Manager

This is a remote, worldwide senior technical programme management role with an organisation that builds enterprise infrastructure and open-source software spanning on-premises and cloud environments. The role suits an experienced delivery leader who enjoys owning complex, cross-functional work from planning through to completion. You will align engineering, product and go-to-market teams around shared goals, bring clear structure and accountability to fast-moving programmes, and report progress with precision to senior leadership. Strong technical literacy in Linux and enterprise systems, and a pragmatic, lean approach to process, will help you thrive.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end planning for cross-functional programmes, including milestones, dependencies, risks and success metrics
• Translate strategic priorities into well-scoped programmes with clear accountability
• Lead delivery across engineering, product and go-to-market teams against committed timelines
• Run structured review cadences to surface blockers early and keep leadership informed on risk
• Maintain roadmaps and status reporting that give real-time delivery visibility
• Define, track and report on programme KPIs and build scalable programme management frameworks

What you need

• 7+ years in technical programme management, ideally in enterprise software or infrastructure
• Track record of delivering cross-functional programmes on time and within scope
• Technical literacy in Linux, enterprise infrastructure and open-source ecosystems
• Expert command of Jira, Confluence and related tooling
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to influence at all levels
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority programmes in a fully remote setting; willingness to travel as needed
