Social Media Lead

A full-time, on-site role in Lagos for a creative communicator who enjoys telling stories through photos, video and graphics. The role sits within a group of co-educational schools in Nigeria, where the focus is on showcasing campus life, building a sense of community and supporting enrolment through digital campaigns. It suits someone with a few years of social media, content or digital marketing experience who is organised, collaborative and comfortable working across several platforms.

What you'll do

• Create and edit photos, videos, Reels and graphics covering school activities and achievements
• Manage the organisation's social media channels across several platforms
• Develop content for social media, newsletters, website updates and parent communications
• Plan content calendars around school events, academic terms and admission cycles
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages and enquiries
• Track performance using analytics and use insights to improve campaigns

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media, Marketing, English or a related field
• 2–4 years' experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing
• Practical photography, video editing and graphic design skills (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva, Photoshop)
• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, web analytics and scheduling tools
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Strong creativity, organisation and interpersonal skills
