Video Editor

A freelance, remote role for an editor who enjoys shaping stories into polished video. The hiring organisation is a fast-paced creative video agency that produces brand films, commercials, testimonials, explainers, UGC-style content and short-form social videos for a range of clients, with an emphasis on cinematic storytelling and strong visual branding. The work suits an experienced editor comfortable in DaVinci Resolve Studio who can balance cinematic pacing with platform-conscious cuts, works well in cloud-based workflows, and manages deadlines independently while collaborating with a creative team.

What you'll do

• Edit brand films, interviews, explainers, product demos, testimonials and short-form social content
• Apply cinematic pacing, clean transitions and platform-appropriate editing
• Perform colour grading and audio processing to broadcast-quality standard
• Integrate captions, branded assets, stock footage and motion graphics
• Manage timelines, project files and versions through cloud-based workflows
• Track time on each project and meet agreed deadlines

What you need

• At least 1 year of professional video editing experience in DaVinci Resolve Studio
• Experience with multi-camera editing, proxy workflows and high-resolution media
• Experience with colour grading and audio processing
• Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics or templates
• Experience with AI-based video tools, or willingness to learn Blackmagic Cloud
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
