Assistant Flight Dispatcher

This full-time, onsite role in Lagos supports flight dispatch and operational control at a commercial aviation operator. The work centres on making sure each aircraft is loaded safely and within approved weight and balance limits, and that the paperwork needed before departure is accurate and complete. It suits qualified aviation professionals with an HND and a dispatch licence who take pride in detail, safety and clear coordination with colleagues on the ground and in the flight office.

What you'll do

• Assist with aircraft load control so payload is distributed safely within approved weight and balance limits
• Calculate and verify aircraft weight and balance data
• Prepare load and trim sheets and other documentation required before departure
• Coordinate with flight dispatchers and ground handling staff to resolve loading irregularities
• Maintain accurate load control records
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, company procedures and safety standards

What you need

• Minimum of an HND from a recognised institution
• Successful completion of an approved Aviation Training Organisation flight dispatch course
• Valid NCAA Flight Dispatcher Licence
• Minimum score of 80% in the employer's entry assessment
