Chief Operating Officer

This is a senior, on-site leadership role in Lagos with a health and wellness and pharmaceuticals business. The chief operating officer will oversee day-to-day operations across all departments, build profitable partnerships with healthcare providers and suppliers, and drive sales and customer retention. What you'll do

• Lead and manage all departments, staff and daily operations
• Drive sales, profitability, business development and customer retention
• Develop relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, clinics and international suppliers
• Oversee procurement, distribution, budgets and financial performance
• Maintain service standards, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
• Manage CRM systems, staff performance and weekly and monthly reporting

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management or a related field
• Completed NYSC service or a valid exemption certificate
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in a senior role
• Proven experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, medical equipment or wellness centre management
• Strong leadership, financial management, CRM and analytical skills
• Established supplier networks and healthcare industry relationships
