Client Relations Officer

A remote client-facing role in a logistics and clearing and forwarding business in Nigeria, supporting clients with shipment updates, documentation and service follow-up. It suits someone organised and detail-minded who enjoys keeping clients informed, coordinating with partners and building lasting relationships. Some basic sales support is part of the role. Prior logistics or freight experience is an advantage but not essential for motivated candidates willing to learn import and export procedures.

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day client communication, handle enquiries and provide shipment status updates
• Coordinate import and export documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support clearing and forwarding
• Track deliveries, resolve issues promptly and keep accurate records
• Identify client needs and support basic sales and service promotion
• Contribute to long-term client relationships

What you need

• Diploma or degree in logistics, business or a related field is preferred
• Accuracy and attention to detail with import and export paperwork
• Knowledge of import and export processes and global trade regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing work
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
• Proficiency in common office software and digital tools
