Communications and Social Media Manager (Remote - Select Countries)

A remote-first online privacy and protection company with a team of over 400 is hiring a communications and social media manager for its Marketing and Communications team. You will shape how a large audience learns about the company's products, owning projects from planning through final reporting. The role blends social media content, community management, press work and measurement.

What you'll do

• Write social media copy and manage conversations, mentions and online communities
• Coordinate proactive announcements for products and features across press, social and community channels
• Handle incoming press requests, pitch journalists and build media relationships
• Plan and run multi-week social campaigns, including baseline measurement, content calendars and weekly reporting
• Track reach, engagement, sentiment and campaign impact, and turn results into clear recommendations
• Work with product, design, legal, support and leadership teams on approvals and launches

What you need

• At least 6 years in communications, including PR and social media, ideally in tech
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to explain technical products without jargon
• Hands-on experience with social platforms such as X, Facebook, Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads and Bluesky
• Media relations experience and a track record of managing projects from kickoff to delivery
• Must be based in one of the listed countries, and be comfortable with on-camera video meetings
• Able to travel about twice a year for company meetups of around 4-5 days each
