Finance & Administration Associate

A full-time onsite finance and administration role based in Abuja, Nigeria, with an organisation working to expand access to energy-efficient cookstoves. The position suits an detail-oriented accounting or finance professional with several years of experience who enjoys keeping accurate records, supporting compliance and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. The role blends financial work such as reconciliations, reporting and payroll support with administrative coordination, and suits someone who can work independently and manage competing deadlines.

What you'll do

• Maintain financial records, process transactions and reconcile accounts
• Assist with financial reports, budgets, forecasts, payroll, taxes and statutory remittances
• Manage accounts payable and receivable and support internal and external audits
• Coordinate procurement, vendor management and general administration
• Maintain organisational records, contracts and personnel documentation
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures

What you need

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in finance and administration
• ICAN, ACCA or ATS certification, or progress towards it, is an advantage
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax, payroll and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
• Strong organisational, communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail
