Finance Reporting Associate

A remote finance role supporting financial reporting, reconciliations and day-to-day finance operations for a data and analytics-focused organisation. The position has a strong emphasis on tax compliance, particularly the Nigerian tax system, where the holder would turn tax requirements into practical internal processes. It suits an accounting or finance graduate with a few years of experience who enjoys structured reporting, attention to detail and building sound controls in a fast-paced setting.

What you'll do

• Manage and implement tax compliance processes, including filings, payments and supporting documentation
• Prepare regular financial reports covering revenue, expenses, cash flow and key metrics
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment platforms and internal financial records
• Track revenue, outstanding balances, refunds and instalment plans
• Support budgeting, forecasting and budget vs. actual analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, tax or financial reporting
• Strong practical knowledge of the Nigerian tax system
• Experience implementing or managing tax compliance processes is highly preferred
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables and reporting
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA or CITN is an advantage
