Finance Intern (NYSC)

A consulting organisation in Abuja is offering an internship for a current NYSC corps member interested in finance. The role supports the finance, procurement and administrative side of the business, giving hands-on exposure to everyday accounting and office operations. It suits a detail-oriented graduate in accounting, finance, economics or a related field who enjoys numbers, keeping accurate records and learning on the job.

What you'll do

• File and maintain financial documents and records
• Support project teams with logistical and administrative tasks
• Assist with procurement requests and invoice collection in line with company policy
• Prepare documentation to support internal and external audits
• Help prepare monthly withholding tax payments and maintain labour hour records
• Assist with month-end balance sheet reconciliations and staff advance tracking

What you need

• Currently serving as an NYSC corps member
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation
• Good organisational, numerical and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
