Finance Controller

A finance leadership role based in Lekki, Lagos, with a fast-moving consumer goods business. The position focuses on strengthening financial governance, internal controls and day-to-day financial processes, with close attention to inventory and cost management. It suits a qualified accountant with several years of control or audit experience who enjoys improving systems, spotting risks early and working with teams across the business. Candidates comfortable with cloud accounting tools and ERP systems will find the role a good match.

What you'll do

• Strengthen financial governance and internal controls
• Improve financial processes and operational efficiency
• Oversee financial auditing, compliance and risk management
• Monitor inventory, stock reconciliation and cost control
• Prepare and review financial reports
• Identify control gaps, prevent financial leakages and implement corrective measures

What you need

• At least 4 years' experience in financial control, preferably in FMCG
• ICAN qualification (ACA) is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, internal controls and process improvement
• Experience in auditing, compliance and risk management
• Hands-on proficiency in Zoho Books and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
