Finance Data Specialist

A remote, flexible contract role for experienced finance professionals who want to apply their analytical skills to improving how technology handles financial information. The work involves building, reviewing and quality-checking financial models, valuations and research write-ups. It is run by an organisation focused on accuracy and quality in expert data work, and suits people with substantial finance experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to deadlines.

What you'll do

• Build financial analyses and supporting documents, including models, valuations and research write-ups
• Review and quality-check finance work produced in a range of workflows
• Evaluate analytical work against detailed instructions and financial conventions
• Author your own analytical output with accuracy and consistency
• Meet deadlines while working independently

What you need

• Completed bachelor's degree, ideally in finance or economics
• At least 24 months of full-time finance experience (excluding internships) at a reputable firm
• Hands-on experience owning and building financial models
• Track record of authored research, diligence or deal work
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and clear written English
• Reliable internet connection and a Windows 10 (or later) or recent macOS computer, working directly without remote access tools
