Finance Lead

This full-time role is for a senior finance professional to lead the financial health and integrity of a capital markets and financial services group in Lagos. The organisation offers investment, wealth, trustee and brokerage services, alongside loans, savings and investment products. The post suits an experienced accountant or finance manager who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on control of reporting, treasury and compliance, and who can work closely with credit, operations, technology and executive teams.

What you'll do

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and lead month-end and year-end close
• Oversee bank and wallet reconciliations and manage treasury, liquidity and cash forecasting
• Lead budgeting, variance analysis and financial forecasting across departments
• Coordinate statutory tax filings, remittances and external audit activities
• Prepare investor and Board financial reports and management dashboards
• Design and strengthen internal financial controls and maintain the fixed asset register

What you need

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian statutory tax obligations
• Proven experience in financial reporting, treasury or audit in a regulated environment
• Professional accounting qualification is expected for a leadership role
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present to senior leaders and Boards
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of internal controls
• Based in or able to work onsite in Lagos
