Finance Manager

A full-time finance leadership role based in Surulere, Lagos, with a hybrid arrangement of three days onsite and two days remote. The position centres on financial reporting, accounting operations, statutory compliance, budgeting and financial risk management, helping leadership make sound decisions from accurate numbers. It suits a qualified accountant with several years of end-to-end accounting experience, ideally from a consulting firm or fast-paced business, who is detail-driven and comfortable working to tight deadlines.

What you'll do

• Prepare income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets and management accounts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and financial records
• Implement financial controls and monitor spending against approved budgets
• Oversee monthly payroll and statutory remittances, including taxes and pensions
• Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, variance analysis and cost-saving initiatives
• Monitor liquidity and operational risks and advise management with financial insights

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Mandatory ICAN or ACCA qualification
• At least 2 years' end-to-end accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, pension remittances and IFRS
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and professional integrity
