Head of New Media

A mid-to-senior, hands-on role combining communications and social media at a fast-growing, developer-focused software company. The job is about reaching technical audiences directly, through social platforms, podcasts and video, rather than relying on traditional press. The role is fully remote and open to candidates anywhere in the world, working asynchronously. What you'll do

• Own and carry out the company's new media strategy, moving beyond traditional press
• Run and grow the company's X and LinkedIn accounts hands on
• Build founders' and team members' social presence, including ghostwriting in their voice
• Book company co-founders on relevant podcasts, shows and YouTube channels in the developer space
• Work with developer relations and product marketing on launches
• Lead communications during high-stakes moments such as incidents and funding announcements
