Social Media Manager

A part-time social media role for a hair and beauty salon based in Lekki, Lagos. The job centres on growing the business's online presence through eye-catching photos, short videos and promotional content that showcase hairstyles, services and customer transformations. It suits a creative person who enjoys beauty trends, has an eye for detail and is comfortable behind a camera as well as a screen. Prior social media or content experience is expected, and experience in beauty or personal care is a plus.

What you'll do

• Manage the social media accounts across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
• Create and publish pictures, short-form videos, reels and promotional graphics
• Photograph and film hairstyles, services and salon activities
• Develop content ideas around beauty trends, promotions and customer experiences
• Write captions and keep a consistent brand voice
• Reply to comments, messages and enquiries, and track engagement and performance

What you need

• First degree in any related field
• Previous experience in social media management, content creation or a related role
• Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook
• Ability to take quality photos and videos and edit using tools such as Canva and CapCut
• Creativity, strong communication and attention to detail
• Able to live within reasonable commuting distance of Lekki, Lagos
