Social Media Manager

A fully remote contract role for a creative social media manager to look after accounts for several brands. The work centres on finding content ideas that suit each brand's identity and audience, planning posts ahead, and keeping an eye on what is working. It suits someone with media or social media experience who values quality content over chasing every trend, and who enjoys writing, planning and spotting the right moment for a brand to join a conversation.

What you'll do

• Manage and oversee social media accounts for several brands
• Develop content ideas that match each brand's identity and goals
• Plan and manage content calendars
• Identify relevant trends and judge when they suit a brand
• Write engaging captions and creative content concepts
• Monitor page performance and suggest improvements

What you need

• Previous experience in social media management or the media industry
• A strong eye for creative, engaging and quality content
• Good understanding of different social media platforms
• Ability to think strategically and creatively
• Good writing, communication and organisational skills
• Takes initiative and pays attention to detail
