Implementation Engineer

This full-time role is for an engineer who will help put payment solutions into live use. The work centres on integrating payment systems, supporting payment gateways and point-of-sale terminals, and making sure merchant deployments run reliably. It is an onsite position with a focus on hands-on technical delivery, monitoring system performance and improving how services work over time. The organisation operates in the electronic payments and digital services space, and the role suits an engineer with a solid technical background, an analytical mindset and some years of experience in software development, system integration or application support.

What you'll do

• Implement and integrate payment solutions
• Provide technical support for payment gateways and POS applications
• Test and deploy solutions for merchants
• Monitor terminal performance and resolve service issues
• Analyse system performance and prepare reports
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and drive continuous improvement in system reliability

What you need

• First degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Sciences
• At least 3 years' experience in software development, system integration, or application support
• Understanding of IT, electronic payments, and digital services
• Programming knowledge is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, business analysis, and project management skills are beneficial
