Internal Control & Risk Management Specialist

A full-time onsite role in Lekki, Lagos, with an investment advisory business. The position focuses on strengthening how the organisation controls its operations and manages risk, from financial processes to regulatory compliance. It suits an experienced auditor or risk professional who enjoys careful analysis, investigation and working alongside management to build good governance habits across the business.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and strengthen internal control systems across business operations
• Identify and manage operational, credit, financial and compliance risks
• Conduct spot checks, fraud risk assessments and compliance reviews
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, regulatory guidelines and industry standards
• Work with management to strengthen corporate governance and risk awareness

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• At least 4 years' experience in internal control, risk management or audit
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIA or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance
• Excellent investigative, analytical and communication skills
• High integrity and attention to detail
