Operations Manager / Facility Manager

A full-time, on-site role overseeing day-to-day operations and facilities across a set of properties in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. The organisation is a property management business that keeps its buildings running smoothly for occupants. The role suits a detail-oriented, organised person with operations, facility or administration experience who enjoys keeping systems on track, managing vendors and staff, and following issues through to resolution. Some comfort with financial records and routine audits is valuable.

What you'll do

• Manage correspondence and administrative notices for the business
• Oversee facility upkeep, identify maintenance backlogs and coordinate repairs
• Track utility supply cycles (power, diesel and water) to keep operations running without interruption
• Maintain operational expense records and carry out routine financial and imprest audits
• Supervise on-site support staff, including cleaning shifts

What you need

• Relevant experience in operations, facility management or administration
• A degree or diploma is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication, including drafting clear professional correspondence
• Good record-keeping and comfort working with figures and expense logs
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate vendors
• Persistence in following up until issues are resolved
