Regional Marketing Specialist (Remote - US only, Mandarin Required)

Pay: $25/hr - $35/hr (hourly rate). Candidates must be based in the US. Periodic travel to San Jose, California for training and team activities. Full-time base pay of $80,000 - $100,000 per year upon conversion. This role is for an online K-12 education company that serves families across the United States, with a focus on math and English language arts programs for elementary students. The Regional Marketing Specialist will build a close understanding of local parent communities and education resources, then turn those insights into content, community initiatives, and local events. Over time, the role can grow into ownership of a geographic market.

What you'll do

• Research local schools, education resources, parent communities, and market trends to identify real family needs and marketing opportunities.
• Join and actively take part in local parent groups on Chinese-language messaging platforms, building genuine relationships and turning conversations into usable insights.
• Create and test content for Chinese-language social platforms based on parent needs and local findings.
• Plan and run local parent events, community partnerships, and education-related initiatives.
• Own marketing projects end to end, from planning and coordination through execution, follow-up, and outcome review.

What you need

• Experience in marketing, content, community management, education, social media, or a related field.
• Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to build relationships with parents naturally in both languages.
• Strong user sense, with the ability to understand audience needs and behaviors.
• Strong research, learning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Must be based in the United States and able to travel periodically to San Jose, California.
